Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday launched ‘CRS’ i.e. Civil Registration System mobile application. Now apply for birth and death certificate online with the help of this app. It is being said that this online facility will also help in reducing the time taken to obtain both types of certificates. User has to register online to get the certificate.

Registration via this link: http://bhatijnalish.lajnadraksha/yab/shakshamayadh. Can be done with the help of Raksha/Phirvi/Taralaksha.

For sign up user has to provide name, mobile number, email id, time of birth or death and address related information. In case of birth at home, a declaration form has to be submitted by the parents in the prescribed proforma.

Along with this address proof has to be provided. Any one of the documents like water ID card, electricity bill, gas bill, water bill, phone bill, passport, ration card, Aadhaar card, bank account can be given for that. The family will not be responsible for providing information in the event of a hospital birth. For that, the duty incharge of the institution has to give the birth information to the concerned registrar.

Information about birth must be given within 21 days. If unable to do so, parents have to approach the registrar concerned. If there is a delay of more than 21 days and less than 30 days, late fee and information in prescribed proforma i.e. Form 1 has to be given. If the delay is more than 30 days and less than 1 year, Form 1, Non Availability Certificate i.e. Form 10, Late Fee, Affidavit and permission of concerned authority have to be submitted. If there is a delay of more than one year, form 1, form 10, late fee, order from archidevit and first class magistrate has to be obtained.

The information about the death in the home must be given within 21 days. For this, the family members have to provide the declaration form, information and address of the deceased through Form R. In case of death in the hospital, the duty incharge should be given the responsibility.

The special thing is that the death information has to be given within 21 days of the incident. If this time limit expires. Then the concerned registrar has to be contacted. For delay more than 21 days and less than 30 days, late fee and prescribed proforma i.e. information has to be given through former.

For delay of more than 30 days and less than 1 year, Form 2, Non Availability Certificate i.e. Form 10, Late Fee, Affidavit and permission from concerned authority should be obtained. If the delay is more than one year then Form 2, Form 10, Late Free, Affidavit and order from First Class Magistrate have to be taken.
